We received an order for a fully customized hardtail SR400 from Mie Prefecture. We created it as a vintage bobber style hardtail, one of the lines of 2%ER. We used a 74 Springer with a TT handle molded from vintage Flanders, a round exhaust pipe with a large hand-bent arc, a split gas tank with a built-in speedometer, a hand change kit, etc., while advocating the bobber of the time, we overhauled all the machinery including the engine, and finished it with aging processing by the globally popular “BACON“. It’s a vintage look custom based on the sturdy and hard-to-crush SR type 2.

The 74 Springer fork has been modified to sink smoothly when braking by applying unique processing around the brake panel, and the hand change kit, which has been carefully designed for the weight of the clutch pedal, the amount of stroke when stepping on, and the ease of shifting, and the FCR carburetor, which accelerates as if you were riding another bike, are also designed with a focus on the fun of running and riding.

●To ensure running performance, we combined a 2-inch over 74 Springer, sized to fit the SR, with a Springer light imported from overseas and a TT handle. For the wheels, we selected the ALLSTATE Dartman for the standard 18-inch.


Front Fork

Front Blinker

CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.

●A speedometer is embedded in the 3.5-gallon tank that has been narrowly processed. The regular product “Drilled Mid High Hand Change Kit” has been modified to a tank shift. The “Genuine Leather STD Solo Saddle/Pillion Pad Set” fits seamlessly into any style. The pillion pad has two positions. You can change to the solo stopper position and the tandem position with just one tool. The loose large arc exhaust pipe and stainless steel trumpet muffler are set at the angle specified by the owner, and the carburetor has been changed to FCR.


Gasoline Tank

“3.5 Gallon Tank”

〇We have narrowed the width, embedded the meter, added a tank shift guide, and installed it with a 4-point rubber mount.

“Circle Gas Cap”

〇It is a gas cap with a classical design and an oil-baked finish.

Welding nut non-through M8 2p

〇Drill a hole in the gasoline tank body and weld it in. It’s non-penetrating, so it won’t leak. Used on both sides.

Weld tab M size 4.5mm thickness 2p

〇The hole diameter is enlarged, changed to a rubber mount specification, and holds a non-penetrating nut. Used on both sides of the rear of the gas tank.


Step/Shift

Muffler

〇A vintage style exhaust pipe with a large hand-bent arc. The base is equipped with a uniquely developed torque cone, designed to prevent a drop in torque at low to medium speeds.

〇Domestically produced, good sounding trumpet silencer.

We manufactured an intermediate pipe and installed it at the length and angle of the owner’s preference


Carburetor

〇2%ER recommended, your slow SR will be dramatically transformed. It’s a carburetor that’s easy to handle with sharp and smooth acceleration.

〇Change from a plastic red funnel to aluminum, set with a stainless steel trash prevention net.

〇It’s a dedicated adapter to firmly fix the FCR carburetor to the SR400/500.


Seat

Electrical Equipment

〇All electrical components except for the CDI are consolidated at the rear of the engine crankcase. It is easily accessible from either side of the vehicle and has good maintainability. There is no need to reassemble even if you return to the swing arm specification during vehicle inspection.

IC blinker relay wide range specification

〇A wide-range turn signal relay that can be used without difficulty even with LED turn signals. It supports 1 to 150 watts and can also be used as a repro for the original relay.

  • RearFenders, rear shocks, swingarms, etc.

    ●A simple rear fender is set on the 13cm long hardtail. It is securely mounted with a 6-point mount and effective reinforcements are added to the back to withstand the vibrations of the SR. The fender brace is a classical plug-in lug design, and the stainless material is hand-bent. The burn marks are intentionally not polished and used as is.
