We customized a W400 brought in by a car owner with back pain to make it easier for him to go on long tours.

The front is a long fork, the rear is lowered, with pullback handlebars, fishtail mufflers, a high back seat, and a sissy bar, all in a classic B-grade chopper style.

For the prototype vintage style coffin tank, we asked ” BACON ” for a unique aging paint job.

Especially for the owner with back pain, we paid particular attention to the position, and by incorporating a backrest frame inside the high back seat that fits the owner’s physique, we were able to distribute the weight of the upper body and carefully set it up so that there is no strain on the back even during acceleration.

Before the customization, the owner said that his back pain was severe even on a tour of about 100km, but after the seat was made, he said that he didn’t get tired at all even after running 300km.

 

This is one of the prototypes for customizing the W series such as W400/W650/W800, and it also served as the base for product development.

Sissy bars, low-down shocks, and parts around the headlights will be released soon.

◯The controls are simplified with a mini switch, a polished lever ‘Grimeca Style Brake Master’ (discontinued), and a change to the clutch lever/lever holder for SR400/500.

〇A classic among classics. A chopper-style blinker. It was mounted in front of the gas tank with a one-off blinker stay.

【Speedometer】

◯The compact meter we use is the “VELONA Electric Speedometer” (discontinued).

CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.

• The gasoline tank is a collaboration model with ELDER’S COMPANY, who also produced a chopper ordered by the king of Indonesia. It’s a vintage style polyhedron coffin tank (prototype) with the top outer circumference sloping diagonally. The paint is a special aging paint by “BACON“.

【Muffler】

“Fishtail End Tip”

◯ It’s a simple addition of the “Fishtail End Tip” to the aftermarket exhaust pipe that was originally installed.

【Seat】

◯The one-off high-back seat that became the starting point for this customization due to back pain. By fitting it perfectly to the owner’s physique, it becomes incredibly comfortable to ride.
