#275-2 SR400 Triple2ree Custom Report
This is the additional customization of the SR400 by our young staff member, Kiyono.
From the previous №275, we added new bolt-on sportster tank, prototype wide Z-bar handle, Honda speedometer,
and Kiyono’s first homemade 1 in 2 up muffler for additional customization.
The “Sportster Tank Bolt-On Kit Chrome Plating” was painted by Kiyono himself while partnering with “BACON“, a partner of 2%ER.
With the young new owner from Mie Prefecture who took over this vehicle.
Kiyono gave up this vehicle for his next SR project.

●A front end with a long fork typical of 2%ER. The outer spring is a prototype. The semi-narrow pullback handle is mounted in Kiyono’s best position with a Paughco type 3 inch square riser. The tire is a selected 18-inch Shinko.

CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.
●The chrome-plated narrow tank is slightly high-mounted by modifying the mounting boss on the front side of the frame. It’s changed to an angle that’s characteristic of a chopper. The first prototype features drilled mid-high steps, a vintage high-back seat, and a carburetor that’s been converted to FCR for a focus on performance. The muffler is a homemade product made after hours.

〇These are switches usually mounted on the left side of the handlebar, custom-made from aluminum by Kiyono. They are installed on the lower left side of the seat for easy operation while riding.

〇All electrical components except the CDI are consolidated at the rear of the engine crankcase. It is easily accessible with both hands from either side of the vehicle, and there is no need to reassemble even when returning to the swing arm specification for vehicle inspection.

●The sissy bar plate, which is matched to the longer seat than usual and aligned with the line of the gas tank lifted at the front, is a one-off creation by Kiyono. It’s combined with my favorite normal tombstone tail lamp. The lens is a gift from other staff’s homemade items.
