#181 SR500Custom Report
The factory manager of 2%ER, Adachi, casually created this SR500 custom during breaks and before work.
Taking cues from the 1960s British bike kustom, he incorporated the balance sense of the time,
and created this uncool yet cool B-grade scrambler with Adachi’s unique personality.
Although it was created for everyday riding, it also served as the development base for new products as a 2%ER, such as the outer spring of the front fork and the sissy bar kit that can be installed simultaneously with the normal seat.
The BSA type gasoline tank, normal seat cowl, and paint applied to the rear shock
were finished with aging paint while learning the pattern from ” BACON ” at the request of Adachi himself, the representative of 2%ER.

【Front Fork Area】
◯The front area reminiscent of the 1960s KUSOM. The front fork was made by removing the inner spring, creating upper and lower spring seats, and designing a spring with a dedicated rate. • The gasoline tank is a replica of the BSA style. The paint job, which was entrusted to me, the representative of 2%ER, was done in a rough and irregular pattern, like a foreigner practicing at the time, with a slightly spacey color tone, under the guidance of “BACON“. It was finished with a subtle aging process that doesn’t look too deliberate.
【Muffler】
“Exhaust Pipe Flange Set for One-off Pipe Production”
〇Used a convenient production kit for the base mouthpiece and made a side exit one-off. We plan to attach a normal muffler to the exhaust pipe end in the future.

【Drive System】

RearFenders, rear shocks, swingarms, etc.
• The X250 swing arm, repurposed to make the car look larger. It results in a wheelbase that is approximately 3cm longer. The rear shock mounting position on the frame side has also been slightly relocated to the rear.
