〇 ” №171 SR400 Chopper ” is a chopper SR400 ordered from a tall owner who is nearly 190cm tall.

A 13cm long type “Rigid Line” bolt-on hardtail is incorporated in the rear, and the front fork is finished in a large body with a 30cm long, the longest length among the regular parts of 2%ER.

The order from the owner who runs a considerable distance in one touring is ” a travel specification that can load a lot of luggage and is not easily tired in a rigid chopper style “.

The usual conflicting task of making it comfortable to ride even without a rear shock hardtail was achieved by sticking to the riding posture and position, such as a step position with room, a handle position that works well without being cramped, and a seat that can distribute body weight widely to the buttocks and back due to the built-in frame that becomes a backrest.

It’s easy to go on long tours.

The exterior is a traditional chopper style as per the owner’s request.

We have arranged classic parts such as Sportster tanks, flat fenders, and high back seats in a balanced manner, and added a squeeze process to the drag pipe muffler as a subtle accent.

(Without an inner frame, just stacking urethane is not reliable enough to entrust your weight with confidence, and you will always be in a state of putting strength into your biceps, abdominal muscles, and back muscles, and you will be tired when you return from touring.)


Electrical Equipment

〇All electrical components except for the CDI are consolidated at the rear of the engine crankcase. It is easily accessible from either side of the vehicle and has good maintainability. There is no need to reassemble even if you return to the swing arm specification during vehicle inspection.

Kick Pedal

Gasoline Tank Installation

◯ The bottom plate of the universal Sportster tank is replaced and safely installed with a 3-point rubber mount. This time, we finished it with chrome plating instead of paint.

Normally, the Sissy Bar of this height would break under the heavy vibrations of the SR400/500 when traveling long distances, but we have taken measures by incorporating a subframe into the high-back seat to ensure durability for long-term use.
