This is an SR custom with a performance x street style.

Initially, it was a vehicle that I had been customizing for over 18 years, from a hardcore cafe racer style to a neo cafe, but this SR was ordered for a style change because the owner was “tired of the separate handlebars”.

The overall silhouette of the normal look with performance parts that have good driving performance tends to become an old man’s style if it is assembled only with that, but by stopping each part from doing too much and adding a bit of 2% ER street feel, it is fast and light, and by setting it in a comfortable position, it is a custom SR with a scooter-like feel that can be run casually at any time, suitable for the owner’s lifestyle that is also used for daily commuting.

FrontHandlebars, F forks, headlights, etc.

Front Fork Area

〇The front area has been disc-ified with Sunstar’s brake rotor and Brembo caliper. The wheel is an early 19-inch model, and the fork spring has been reinforced with Hyperpro.


Headlight

〇While maintaining a look close to the original around the headlight, the position of the meter and light is adjusted with one-off stainless steel stays,


Speedometer

〇This is a slightly mature finish, such as painting the top bridge black to match the so-called black meter of the initial model.

Muffler

〇We used an AAA-made muffler that increases power across the entire range.


Step

Mid-High Control Parkerized for SR400/500

This step kit offers a comfortable position with a classic look that you can’t get from machined steps. It allows you to ride without straining yourself, just like a back step.


Carburetor

FCR carburetor 39φ SR400/500 single unit

〇The sluggish SR will dramatically change. It’s a carburetor that’s easy to handle, with sharp and smooth acceleration and good startability.

〇It’s a dedicated adapter to firmly fix the FCR carburetor to the SR400/500.

“Funnel Net for FCR Carburetor”

〇It’s a net to avoid debris that could cause major damage to the engine while maintaining smooth air intake resistance.


Gasoline Tank/Seat

We have used the well-shaped normal gas tank as it is, and added a street feel with a hand-beaten aluminum tracker seat. The seat is slightly shorter than a regular tracker seat, and it has been designed and made so that the back does not rise too much.

〇It’s a cover with cooling fins that further enhances the look of the classical SR engine.

    Rear Wheel

    SR400/500 XS250 Wheel Conversion Kit

    ◯The rear wheel is a 16-inch conversion of a cast, reused from XS250. The conversion kit is used for installation without any modifications.

    “280mm G-Suspension/Chrome”

    〇By lowering the rear a little to match the wheel, we added a street feel to the rear area and balanced the overall so that it does not rise from the back.
