The SR400 that was purchased at another store was brought in for repair and inspection at first, but due to the severe condition of various parts and many unusable areas, we disassembled the entire vehicle, including the engine, and customized it along with a complete overhaul.

The overall styling is based on the owner’s preference for flat trackers made on a British car base in the 70s, with the rear converted to a hardtail.

The gas tank that was originally attached with a single point when brought in is unusually small for us at 2%ER who focus on the joy of riding, but this time it was adopted at the owner’s request. It is attached with a safe 3-point rubber mount.

The specified center rib rear fender has been effectively reinforced on the back to withstand the vibrations of the SR, and it is also safely and balancedly attached with a 6-point mount.

Not only the gas tank and rear fender, but also the overall vintage feel was entrusted to “BACON“, with whom we have been teaming up for many years.

The steps are mid-forward to match the tall owner’s physique. The angle is set so that the knees do not bend too much and do not get tired, and the position is effective for bracing. Changes in the angle of the seat and input to the springs (lever ratio), and the use of a pillion pad as a stopper during acceleration, are all part of the design that focuses on ride comfort. As always, the 2%ER vehicle is built in the same way, with a good overall balance.
