This is the first overseas order for 2%ER, positioned as the Malaysian version of the Yokohama HOTROD CUSTOMSHOW, a vehicle exhibited at the “ART OF SPEED2023” hosted by MOONEYES Malaysia.

Although there have been many appearances as guests and judges at large-scale custom shows overseas (55,000 people mobilized in two days in 2019), this is the first vehicle exhibition.

The owner of this SR500 is Noh, who is active in the scene with many appearances as a musician, model, TV, commercials, etc.

Noh is a friend who deepened his friendship by visiting Japan after calling out “I’m a fan of 2%ER” at the venue of Art of Speed, where he was invited as a guest in 2019, and coming to 2%ER and going for a drive together.

When Noh came to 2%ER, he liked the styling and ride of my car at the time, “№187 SR500”, which I lent him to go touring,

He offered to buy it and take it back to Malaysia, but since it was already sold, it became the order production of this vehicle. It was produced incorporating the image of Noh himself and Hikari Riders in the silhouette and declaration of 2%ER and №187 SR500, in the position of collaboration with Noh’s apparel brand “HIKARI RIDERS”.

The custom paint of the frame and exterior parts was borrowed from the “BACON” factory, and the representative of 2%ER was allowed to paint it with the help of BACON.

It was unveiled at the collaboration booth of 2%ER x HIKARI RIDERS, which was invited as a guest at ART OF SPEED held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2023.

●The front area is extended by 25cm, just like Noh’s favorite №187 SR500. The one-off front fender and cheek bar, which didn’t make it in time for export, were brought in and assembled by the 2%ER representative during the ART OF SPEED exhibition.

【Front Fork Area】

●The rear subframe from the seat rail is hand-bent from a single pipe and gently drop-processed. The gasoline tank is placed in the best position using a Sportster tank, and the muffler is a one-off made from the exhaust pipe. The handlebars, steps, and seat, which determine a comfortable and easy-to-ride position, are tailored to Noh’s physique. The handlebars are 10-inch pullbacks, the steps are mid-high to distribute body weight, and the seat is a one-off high-back. The position is set so that you can ride comfortably and enjoyably through the streets of Kuala Lumpur or the vastness of Malaysia without getting tired.

The paint for the frame, tank, and rear fender is based on Noh’s favorite “№187 SR500” technique, with adjustments made and finished with the help of “BACON“.
