This is an order from Mr. Horiguchi, the owner of a shop specializing in American cars called ““HI STROKE“, which specializes in 1960s American cars in Shiga, the hometown of 2%ER.
What we prepared for the discerning owner is a world-first in the SR industry, a normal hub modified rear disc kit (under development, normal swing arm width, single disc specification, scheduled for release in 2023) with double calipers.
The calipers are operated by one handle lever and one foot pedal. We have finished it in a silhouette like a super skinny dragonfly with the handlebars just barely wider than the tires, and only the step bar sticking out, in a narrow triple tree that is characteristic of a chopper.
Despite the extremely simple front area with a jockey shift without a clutch lever and a brakeless spool hub of 21 inches, it is not a suicide setup with only foot brakes, but a safe specification with a hand brake that can be used for stopping and starting on slopes. The hand brake with wire pull and the brake master of the foot pedal are located at the rear of the engine.
In accordance with the order for a “chopper that is not a long fork”, we adjusted the overall silhouette with an 18cm long hardtail and a suitable fork extension to match the size of the rear area, and resized the peanut tank to fit this vehicle size with a 2cm extension and 2cm narrowing process. We mounted it at a high angle where the thick main tube unique to SR is barely visible. We placed simple items such as the classic 5-inch rib fender, sissy bar, one-off muffler, etc. in line with the overall line without being eccentric.
The paint is by “Kyoto P,H,K“. Here too, without overdoing it, we used a candy wine base with just enough lace paint to not get tired of it. The engine has been overhauled around the waist and clutch, and assembled cleanly with cerakote, powder coat, buff polish, etc. We also made it with a focus on custom shows, such as chrome-plated rims front and rear.
The handlebars, steps, cobra and high back 2way seats, and other parts related to operability and fatigue resistance were positioned while actually having the owner straddle them. It has become a show bike that is also fun to ride with the change to the FCR carburetor.

● The peanut tank, which has been narrowed and extended, is mounted in the best position to conceal the overly thick main tube unique to the SR and secure the gasoline capacity.
The small storage space under the seat is equipped with a modified remote oil filter with an external beehive design used in 1950s HOTROD. The one-off drag pipe is made to be simple and tight, without breaking the silhouette and leaning inward. The shift is a jockey, and the carburetor has been changed to FCR for a more enjoyable operation and ride. The seat comes with a cobra seat for everyday use and a high back for long touring, allowing you to change according to your needs. The brake master is installed in a two-row configuration for handbrake and footbrake use, with a small custom master on the rear side of the engine crankcase, pulled by a wire from the brake lever.

●Introducing the industry’s first normal hub modified disc brake kit. This is designed for an extremely simple front end, typical of choppers that do not have brakes around the front, by installing double calipers and making the handbrake usable. The wheel size remains 18 inches, and the chrome-plated 2.50 size wide rim is reused from discontinued models. The drop center design enhances the custom feel while the rear tire is “pulled” and fitted.
By using a normal hub, consumables such as hub clutches and sprockets are always available, and the final gear ratio can be easily changed, making it a specification that does not take time to repair when necessary. Also, since it is designed with the same dimensions as the normal brake mounting width, it is easy to change the specifications to drum brakes.
