Received an order for an old-school style long fork chopper from Hokkaido. We assembled it while maintaining the overall balance by adding a few options such as a 25cm long front fork, mid-high step, one-off sissy bar, etc., based on the “STD Hardtail Complete“. We asked “BACON” for the aged design paint that is characteristic of the choppers of that time.
• A long fork typical of a chopper, 25cm longer than the original. The selection of small, rounded front tires is set to a weight level that allows for normal city riding, preventing the handling from becoming too heavy.
〇A street tire with a vertical groove design. It helps to lighten the handling that tends to become heavy when long forks are used. It is a small diameter size with a round 3.00 size.
The handle is a custom-made riserless T-bar. The clutch lever has been eliminated by the jockey shift, and the change to the Amal throttle has made it even simpler than usual. Long cables are used for each.
〇Used when extending the fork or relocating the meter.
CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.
●The Narrow Sports Star Tank is safely mounted with three rubber points. The frame under the seat is rebuilt to match the angle of the rear “Hardtail Kit“, by cutting the original part and using thick steel pipes, considering strength, precision, durability, and maintainability.
〇A genuine leather solo saddle seat with a balanced price, look, and comfort. It is installed with a soft ride that is less likely to bottom out by changing the mounting angle and spring input position.
〇All electrical components except the CDI are consolidated at the rear of the engine crankcase. It is easily accessible from either side of the vehicle and has good maintainability. There is no need to reassemble even if you return to the swing arm specification during vehicle inspection.
〇As the name suggests, this is a detachable hardtail kit using bolts/nuts. It remodels the seat rail of the original frame to make it a rigid line. You can revert to a swing arm/rear shock specification when you need to pass an inspection or change the style.
