This is an SR400 that was ordered, including the base vehicle, from a local owner in Shiga Prefecture. After discussing with the owner who travels long distances, we created a vehicle with a slightly larger split gas tank, hand change, and a sissy bar for loading luggage. We balanced all the exterior parts to fit the SR400’s vehicle size, aiming for the style of the old bobber. The worn-out finish of the entire vehicle is by the patina painter, “BACON“, who receives orders from all over the world.

CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.
• The gasoline tank is a modified 3.5-gallon tank for Harley. It is securely fixed with a three-point rubber mount. It ensures sufficient capacity for owners who drive long distances. The cap used is the classic “Circle Gas Cap“.
〇It’s a gas cap with a classical design and an oil-baked finish.
【Step/Shift】
◯The tank shift, which was the owner’s wish, was made by reusing the foot clutch mechanism of the regular product “Mid-High Jockey Shift Kit Parkerized for SR400/500“, and the hand change part was custom-made. The change arm base, shifter guide, and shifter were custom-made, and the shift knob was made by modifying and attaching a handle of vintage furniture brought in by the owner.
◯ The “Narrow Bates Replica Solo Seat” is mounted with a 2-inch spring. By changing the position of the fulcrum, force point, and action point on the stay on the back of the seat, the impact of the rigid is greatly reduced by setting it to a lever ratio (ratio of the lever) that is hard to bottom out even with the average weight of a Japanese person. The pillion pad is installed in a position to support the weight during acceleration.
〇All electrical components except the CDI are consolidated at the rear of the engine crankcase. It is easily accessible from either side of the vehicle and has good maintainability. There is no need to reassemble even if you return to the swing arm specification during vehicle inspection.
〇A wide-range turn signal relay that can be used without difficulty even with LED turn signals. It supports 1-150 watts and can also be used as a replacement for the original relay.
〇This is a filter kit needed when removing the original air cleaner.
RearFenders, rear shocks, swingarms, etc.
• A defining feature of this style is the 13cm long hardtail. The sissy bar is slightly wider, designed with the idea of carrying a lot of luggage. It was designed using 14mm square steel, shaped and bent according to the owner’s specifications.
〇As the name suggests, it’s a detachable hardtail kit using bolts/nuts. It remodels the seat rail of the original frame to a rigid line. You can revert to the swing arm/rear shock specification when you need to change the style or during vehicle inspection.
