#237 SR400Custom Report
One of the styles representing 2%ER’s SR custom, this SR400 for the shop, made for the owner and staff, is a bit different from usual, as a B-class chopper with a normal frame and long fork.
All the SR400/500s I’ve made for myself in the past have been handed over to customers who said, “I want this!” However, this time, I finished it in a B-class style that is so unattractive that no one would say “I want it”.
Starting with the O/H of the engine waist up, I slowly built it during breaks and overtime, using an SR400 I bought privately, parts I got in America, a seat I got from another customer, original bolt-on parts, and a few one-off parts.

【Front Tire】
〇A street tire with a vertical groove design. It helps to lighten the handling that tends to become heavy when long forks are used. It is a small diameter size with a roundness of 3.00.
【Headlight】
〇A headlight with a visor and a bright H4 bulb. It’s a convenient headlight that can store a lot of wiring in the body.
【Handle/Handle Area】
◯ The distinctive handle riser is something I got from “Kiyo`s Garage” during a business trip to America. I recommended it to many customers in the past, but due to its strong character, it was often avoided and left over, so I installed it.
◯ The handle is a Z-bar that was lying around the shop.

◯In order to add a sense of nostalgia for the B-class of yesteryears, we deliberately mounted the speedometer in an unexpected location.
CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.
The gasoline tank, deliberately kept standard, was painted by the shop owner himself, borrowing tools from the “BACON” factory.
【Muffler】
〇Easy installation with slip-on to the original exhaust pipe. It’s an up-muffler typical of a chopper.
◯We modified and installed the “Low Pass Baffle” for torque up.
【Step/Shift】
“Mid-High Jockey Shift Kit/Parkarize”
〇The jockey shift kit, which is particular about the touch and stroke operation feeling, is mounted in a position that does not get tired at all even if you run more than 700km a day, while keeping the comfortable riding posture of the mid-high step.
【Carburetor】
“FCR carburetor 39φ SR400/500 single unit“
〇Your slow SR will drastically change. It’s a carburetor that’s easy to handle with sharp and smooth acceleration.

〇It’s a set of a stainless steel trash guard net and a change from a red plastic funnel to aluminum.
〇It’s a dedicated adapter to firmly fix the FCR carburetor to the SR400/500.
【Seat】
◯The seat is probably a vintage high-back from AEE. It was given to me by a customer who no longer needed it.
【Electrical Equipment】

◯ The area under the seat is empty. It is neatly finished with the “BRATSTYLE Electrical Equipment Plate”.
“IC blinker relay wide range specification“
〇 A wide-range turn signal relay that can be used without any problems with LED turn signals. It supports 1-150 watts and can also be used as a replacement for the original relay.
〇 This is a battery-less kit made in Japan.
“Custom ignition switch bolt-on kit General-purpose“
