This is an SR400 based on the “#8 STD Hardtail Complete” that we prepared from the base vehicle with a 13cm long hardtail kit ordered from Nara Prefecture.
We have incorporated a one-off split gas tank and other classical exterior parts such as the “Loose Ride Bar Handle”, a new product launched for the styling of this type of vehicle, the “Vintage BATES Replica Solo/Pillion Seat”, a new product we discovered overseas, and the rear fender of Royal Enfield, all in a simple and balanced way to create a vintage bobber style. The bike is finished with a special aging process by “BACON”, a patina painter who receives orders from all over the world.
We have created a vintage bike-like atmosphere based on the reliable and trouble-free 2nd generation SR400, which has a plentiful supply of parts and is safe to ride for a long time.
The positions and angles of the seat, step, and handlebar are set according to the owner’s physique, and the bike is built in a position that is not easily fatigued even over long distances, despite the rigid frame without rear shocks.

This is a semi-custom vehicle with additional optional parts and one-off items on the exterior, and changes to the tires and headlights, based on the “#8 STD Hardtail Complete”. Please refer to this as a sample of how changing the type of exterior to classical can create a different image.

◯ A seat set with a great atmosphere, replicated from the base shape of a genuine old Bates seat. The spring input position and angle settings, as well as the pillion pad mounting position, are set to be less tiring, unique to 2%ER.

【Gasoline Tank Installation】

◯The gasoline tank is not a select part of the “STD Hardtail Complete“, but a split tank made as an optional specification. We placed a stainless steel ornament at the connection.

〇Drill a hole in the gasoline tank body and weld it in. It’s non-penetrating, so it won’t leak. Used on both sides.

〇Enlarge the hole diameter and change to a rubber mount specification to hold the non-penetrating nut. Used on both sides.

【Electrical】

〇All electrical components except the CDI are consolidated at the rear of the engine crankcase. It is easy to access with both hands from either side of the vehicle, and there is no need to reassemble even if you return to the swing arm specification during vehicle inspection.

◯ It’s a repurposed one from Royal Enfield. We’ve added effective reinforcements on the back, significantly increasing rigidity and durability, and installed it to withstand the vibrations of the SR.

◯ The rear fender brace is made of stainless steel and was classically manufactured using the same overlay pipe method as the gasoline tank ornament.
