The style is modeled after the old school chopper, with a silhouette of an isosceles triangle, and we made sure not to make the lines too thin overall, such as the deliberate wide springer, and created it as a standard chopper without overdoing each part.
The paint and aging process was handled by Yamaguchi, the representative of 2%ER, at the request of the owner, and was finished with the help of the “BACON” factory.
〇The front uses a modified Harley Springer. By floating the front brake panel, we have prevented the brake from flipping up during braking and transformed it into a sinking brake.
〇A street tire with a vertical groove design. It helps to lighten the handling that tends to become heavy when the fork is lengthened. It is a small diameter size with a roundness of 3.00.
〇Mounted on the left front side of the gasoline tank, where it is inconspicuous and highly visible.
CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.
• The gas tank is a coffin tank, newly made from a single sheet of iron, modeled after vintage ones with thinning iron and unremovable rust, to prevent troubles. It is of a size suitable for SR. Although the SR400/500 has significant minor vibrations, it is mounted with a three-point rubber mount to prevent cracking.
〇We used a handy production kit for the root mouthpiece and made a one-off full exhaust muffler. As the order was to “make it in a shape that has never been seen before”, we made a square muffler formed from sheet metal.
〇It’s a set of a stainless steel debris net and an aluminum funnel, replacing the red plastic funnel.
【Seat】
〇The seat is a vintage of unknown origin. It’s a button-down seat with a base that is about 2cm slimmer and 3cm longer than modern solo seats, like Old Bates. I installed one that I bought in California.
〇A wide-range turn signal relay that can handle 1-150 watts without any problem, even with LED turn signals. It can also be used as a replacement for the original relay.
〇As the name suggests, it’s a detachable hardtail kit using bolts/nuts. It remodels the original frame’s seat rail to a rigid line. You can revert back to the swing arm/rear shock specification during vehicle inspection or when changing styles.
〇This is a drilled design torque rod to avoid interference with the wider tires.
【Rear Fender/Sissy Bar】
〇The arch of the flat fender was deliberately not aligned with the tire, and was installed in a rough style as if it was assembled arbitrarily. The fork sissy bar is a one-off production.
