#140 SR400Custom Report
This is a vehicle that we customized based on the SR400 you brought in.
It’s a fully customized SR equipped with Rigid, Jockey, Springer Fork and more.
The frame is 13 cm longer due to the long bolt-on hardtail kit, and the silhouette has been changed to a low and long one by using a 16-inch front and rear conversion and a modified Harley 74 Springer Fork. The vehicle’s size is comparable to a Harley Big Twin. (We currently have this Springer Fork kit available)
The exterior, such as the gas tank, is designed to be low while maintaining balance and capacity, and is mounted accordingly.
The reliable original drum brake attached to the Springer is designed to sink smoothly when braking, making it safer to drive than a poorly lowered vehicle with a normal fork.
Originally, this vehicle was a hard short suspension with a thin seat and poor quality seat rail drop, and we started improving the ride comfort and styling after the owner consulted us about not being able to drive long distances due to discomfort.
For the tall owner, we made a long hardtail that is 8 cm longer than the Rigid Line Bolt-On Hardtail Kit SR400/500. With a spacious seating area, a saddle seat designed with angle and spring action in mind, a pillion pad that acts as a weight stopper during acceleration, and a step position that allows for comfortable footing, you can ride much more comfortably than a poorly short suspension vehicle.
This is a show-level custom SR that is easier to ride than it looks, packed with 2%ER’s know-how that focuses not only on styling but also on “riding” and “long touring”.
After completion, the owner has been enjoying many tours, including a 600 km tour in one day.
