#182 SR400Custom Report
This is a full custom SR400 order that we received from a client in distant Tokyo.
Starting from the initial phone inquiry, we finished it while communicating through LINE videos and Instagram.
We assembled a 13cm long “Rigid Line” bolt-on hardtail kit at the rear, used a 16-inch cast wheel from XS250 for the rear wheel, changed the silhouette to a chopper-like one with a fork joint, and balanced the classic parts such as a peanut tank and flat fender well with the size of the SR body. It’s a vintage-style chopper that has been seasoned with aging processing throughout the body.
We also paid attention to the riding comfort that is easy to operate and not easily tired, such as the installation angle of the solo saddle seat, the direction of the springs, and the positional relationship between the step and the handle, according to the owner who is 173cm tall.
