The SR500, which we finished by adding a mid-high step kit and a one-off sissy bar based on the “№8 STD Hardtail Complete“, is a custom motorcycle.

The base vehicle was brought in by a customer from Hyogo Prefecture who switched from a Shovelhead. The vehicle was previously worked on by another shop and was left in a half-finished state after a wait of three and a half years. Despite the sloppy and dangerous construction that deviated greatly from 2%ER’s safety standards, we rebuilt everything from the frame to the exterior, overhauled the engine which was idling poorly due to unnecessary tuning parts and a large amount of oil rise due to compression, and repaired the electrical system and overhauled the undercarriage, refreshing everything to create a reborn custom SR. We finished it with an orthodox menu from the “2%ER Hardtail Series“.

Despite the rigid frame without rear shocks, we have paid attention to the comfort and ease of riding, such as the mounting position of the handle/step/seat and the cushioning, and you can enjoy the lightness unique to SR and the acceleration of 500cc.

〇All electrical components except for the CDI are consolidated at the rear of the engine crankcase. It is easily accessible from either side of the vehicle and has good maintainability. There is no need to reassemble even if you revert to the swing arm specification during vehicle inspection.

Custom Ignition Switch Weld On Kit General Purpose

  • RearFenders, rear shocks, swingarms, etc.

    • The rear area has been changed to the classic rigid frame line with a 13cm long hardtail kit. A flat fender, which is common, is well-balanced and mounted with effective reinforcements to withstand the load of the sissy bar and the unique vibrations of the SR. It is a safe 6-point mount.
