This was an order from Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, originally a full order including the vehicle, but since there was time until the turn, the owner purchased the base SR400 on their own, enjoyed riding it in the meantime, and brought it in at the timing of the turn, and we produced it according to the owner’s wishes while discussing each part. At the same time, we refreshed each part with “2%ER SR400/500 Vehicle Inspection Maintenance“. We serviced it so that it can be ridden safely and comfortably by overhauling and adjusting each part, such as the engine with a loud abnormal noise, the brake with poor effectiveness, and the controls with poor operability.

We designed and produced it to withstand the specified tandem while placing the owner-specified parts in a balanced manner.

Not only in terms of design, but also in terms of functionality, such as the position of the ignition key and handle lock that are easy to operate even while straddling, the position of the speedometer that is easy to see, the turn signal that lights up well, the seat spring that is hard to bottom out, and the step that can distribute body weight, we have assembled it with consideration for short delivery time for repair in case of damage, maintainability, etc., by reducing one-off parts as much as possible and using regular parts extensively, except for the key points of style.
