●Easily Achieve the Chopper Style!
This chopper style can be easily created by simply replacing parts, while using the original, well-designed parts such as the frame, headlights, turn signals, meter, ignition key, gas tank, side cover, front and rear fenders, front and rear wheels, brakes, etc. without any modifications. The switches around the handle (headlight Hi/Lo, turn signal, horn) can be easily installed with a dedicated coupler-on kit. (Limited to models from 85-00 and 03-08. Other models require modifications ※Under development)
Especially, by eliminating the troublesome and time-consuming (costly) harness processing work around the headlight and making the handle switches coupler-on, customizing becomes instantly accessible!!
Choose your favorite parts from other 2%ER original parts such as front forks, handlebars, seats, mufflers, rear shocks, sissy bars, etc., and it’s complete with bolt-on assembly!
All are bolt-on installations with no modifications to the main frame or main harness. Not only is it easy to customize, but it’s also easy to revert back to the original at any time, which is a key point.
Easy to ride in the city, extremely stable at high speeds, capable of carrying a lot of luggage, perfect for everything from shopping in the city to long touring and camping!

EASY CHOP, where looks, ride comfort, and ease of use are all combined!
Based on a 1997 model, 2nd type drum brake SR400, this chopper style is focused on ease of assembly, overall good looks typical of a chopper, less fatigue, and a casual, easy-to-ride position. The necessary parts are original bolt-on parts that take advantage of the experience of having produced many SR choppers.
Although it falls into the category of light custom, it is particularly committed to the following:
◎Cost: Total custom parts cost around 300,000 yen (excluding tank/fender paint, FCR carburetor)
■Total cost of main exterior parts 269,470 yen (fork area, handle area, seat, sissy bar, tail lamp, etc.)
■Total cost of parts used below 438,670 yen (including F tire, FCR carburetor, step)
◎Looks: Well-balanced production of the 70’s mainstream chopper style

●Front fork: Straight-line stability due to long fork. Reduced handle weight due to selection of small diameter tires.
●Handle: Relaxed position with moderately bent joints. No strain on any part of the body.
●Step: Weight distribution and effective stepping reduce the overall body burden significantly.
The paint on the gas tank and side cover is by “BACON“, a world-renowned patina painter and an old friend of the 2%ER representative. It was finished with a light aging paint to match the slightly worn overall of the 1997 model.
This vehicle has been converted to an FCR carburetor, further enhancing its performance.

【Front Tire】
〇A street tire with a vertical groove design. It helps to lighten the handling that tends to become heavy when long forks are used. It is a small, rounded 3.00 size.

●With just the essentials like the seat, step, and muffler, we’ve managed to balance looks and ride comfort while keeping costs down. We’ve added an easy-to-handle FCR carburetor for sharp acceleration. The gas tank and side cover are finished with paint by the world-renowned patina painter, “BACON“.

【Drive System】

〇A durable replacement sprocket made of steel.
RearFenders, rear shocks, swingarms, etc.
●Rear shock, sissy bar, tail lamp. The rear area is also finished with these three custom parts. Despite this look, it is finished with the minimum part replacement. The short rear shock improves footing when using a long fork, creating a chopper-like silhouette, and we added a sissy bar that can hold a lot of luggage.
