#288 SR400Custom Report
This is an SR400 that we created as a bobber style with a vintage atmosphere, ordered with a vehicle brought in from Mie Prefecture, and produced with an 18cm long hardtail.
We arranged vintage parts such as the auto racer’s seat, Indian gas tank, and 1920s FORD spare tire cover (used on the rear fender) in a well-balanced manner throughout the vehicle. The vintage gas tank, which is worn out due to the iron material itself, is safely mounted with a 3-point rubber mount while adding reinforcements. The spare tire cover, which is worn out due to rust, etc., is firmly attached after adding effective reinforcements to the back and taking measures against the slight vibrations unique to domestic singles that can damage parts with a 6-point mount. The original paint was burned in the process of adding a tunnel to the gas tank and reinforcing the rear fender back plate, and the burned parts were finished with aging paint by “BACON“.
The 74 Springer has been modified to smoothly sink the fork when braking, and the step and spring mount seat that match the owner’s physique while actually straddling it, and the position making that allows you to ride comfortably without being nervous and less tired, all parts are maintained to move safely and smoothly, and the addition of the FCR carburetor makes it even more fun, and so on, it is produced by the usual 2%ER bike making method.
We produced it as a bobber style with a vintage feel, while incorporating a large number of new products and one-off parts, such as the ultra-small, powerful LED pancake headlight, the beehive oil filter under the seat, and the left-up exhaust pipe.
