#202 MOTOGUZZI LEMANSⅡ850Custom Report

Adachi-kun, who has been a staff member since the launch of 2%ER, has painstakingly created this custom model before and after work and on his days off. This is a 1979 Moto Guzzi that he made for himself as a follow-up to his previous XS650. The base vehicle he purchased was almost junk, an immobile vehicle with many missing parts. The gas tank had a hole in it, and there were not enough parts in each section, so it was in a shabby state. However, the exterior parts were a collection of used parts that were lying around in the 2%ER garage, and the engine area was repaired to a state where it could be driven with peace of mind. He enjoys going for a ride on his days off and after work (it is currently disassembled for customizing into a digger style, which was the original project).

It was assembled with junk parts just to enjoy the characteristic of the torqueful engine, and the only parts that cost money were the “74 Springer” that was replaced from the unusable normal fork, and the carburetor that could not be repaired. The gas tank is a modified fire extinguisher and the shift has been changed to a jockey shift. It’s a rough finish for the time being, but it has a unique style that is typical of Adachi.

Custom List

FrontHandlebars, F forks, headlights, etc.

The front fork of the base vehicle, which was not useful, has been modified and fitted with the ○ “74 Springer Fork Kit SR400/500“. The front brake panel of the reused SR400 is processed to float, and it is set to sink smoothly when braking.

The projector lamps installed on the front left and right are the headlights.

The handle is a direct-attached processed dead stock swallow handle, and the throttle is made by Tomazelli.

Front Fork

“74 Springer Fork/2 Inch Over”

◯ The brake panel is set to sink smoothly during braking due to the floating processing and improved torque rod mounting angle.

“Drum Brake Panel for 74 Springer”

〇 A brake panel with floating processing necessary to sink the front fork during braking.

CenterTank, oil tank, seat, step, muffler etc.

The exterior is all made from used and junk parts that were rolled into 2%ER.

The gas tank is a modified fire extinguisher base, and the muffler is a normal exhaust pipe with a 3-inch SuperTrapp slip-on modification.

Engraving (metal carving) was added to the head cover of the revived engine.

The shift was modified to a jockey shift with a foot clutch.

Modifications were made to the brake pedal, which was almost ineffective because the lever ratio (ratio of the lever) was not correct, to achieve the optimal lever ratio and enable safe brake operation.

The carburetor has been changed many times, such as FCR, CR, Mikuni, etc., and has been changed to OKO, which had the best compatibility. It has become a fun ride with a torqueful start.

  • RearFenders, rear shocks, swingarms, etc.

The rear area has been lowered with the rear shock of the old model Rebel 250.

The rear fender is a modified Fat Bob for Harley, and the tail lamp is a genuine product from DUCATI Panta.

The brake is from Performance Machine. It is planned to be set up with two units in the future.
