This is an SR customized in a 70s style.

We had a detailed discussion with the energetic owner and created the position and style.

We recreated the overall silhouette, the way each part is attached, and the details to match the atmosphere of the custom bikes of the time to the SR engine, and finished it in a chopper style that was not found in past SRs.

The vintage coffin tank is welded & molded to the frame.

This is a setup filled with the owner’s relentless spirit to live life to the fullest.

Although the customizing, painting, and finishing of each part are still in progress,

The unfinished roughness is also completed as a style.

This kind of chopper is a mental vehicle.

Without relying on Harley or foreign car brands, we made it with the owner’s feelings in the mass-produced SR

It’s a chopper that only suits the owner, made just for the owner.

Front Wheel

〇A wheel kit that results in a narrow, large-diameter, sharp style.

〇You can change to a classical style by attaching it to a normal drum brake.


Headlight

◯A one-off light stay with a twisted square rod and a dead stock square light. The interior has been modified to change to an H4 bulb. It lights up well and is reassuring.


Handle/Handle Area

◯A handle that looks like a mix of a double Z bar and a bent bar. It’s a one-off production with a 1-inch pipe. The throttle / lever is for Harley. Transplanted the emblem of XS650SP to the under bracket.


Speedometer

◯The handle is equipped with a speed / tachometer from an old Yamaha on a meter panel diverted from Iron Sports. It was installed in a retro and cool style.

 

※It is currently a front brakeless specification.

Carburetor

〇The slow SR’s performance will drastically change. It’s a high-performance carburetor that offers sharp and smooth acceleration and good startability.

〇It’s a dedicated adapter to firmly fix the FCR carburetor to the SR400/500.

〇It’s a set of a garbage prevention net made of stainless steel and a red plastic funnel changed to aluminum.

IC blinker relay wide range specification

〇A wide-range blinker relay that can handle 1-150 watts without any problem, even for LED blinkers. It can also be used as a replacement for the original relay.

Battery Lesser

〇This is a battery-less kit that is made entirely in Japan.

Custom ignition switch bolt-on kit General-purpose

〇The main key, which is originally attached to the top bridge, is easy to operate even while riding, and is installed on the lower right of the seat.


【Oil Tank】

◯A new oil tank was installed under the drop-processed sheet. It has a polyhedral shape that suits the chopper, and its capacity has been increased while still accommodating a battery.


Gasoline Tank Installation

◯ Welding a vintage coffin tank to the frame. This was a common technique used in the 1970s. It was molded with sheet metal and putty.

〇 Drill a hole in the gasoline tank body and insert and weld. It’s non-penetrating, so it won’t leak. Used on both sides.

Weld tab M size 4.5mm thickness 2p

〇 Enlarge the hole diameter and change to a rubber mount specification to hold the non-penetrating nut. Used on both sides.

Weld tab L size 4.5mm thick steel 2p

〇 Used for the rear installation of the gas tank. This also has an enlarged hole diameter and is used with a rubber mount.

◯ It’s a classical kick pedal with increased area for easier kick operation.

〇A durable replacement sprocket made of steel.

    Rear Wheel

    ◯The rear wheel is a 16-inch Kawasaki conversion. I adopted it because I liked the design, which is similar to Morris.


    Rear Shock

    ◯A boomerang strut with a design that doubles as a rigid suspension and fender brace. It’s a one-off item made from a thick steel plate. The swing arm has been extended by 5cm. Two ribs were added to the side and molded.


    Rear Fender

    The rear fender mounted with a DUO tail is a complete one-off. It was shaped into the ideal form using eight iron plates and round bars.


    Sissy Bar

    ◯The Sissy Bar is also a one-off production. Considering the weight, the two outer bars are solid, and the two inner bars are made using hollow square pipes.
