#289 SR400Custom Report
This is an SR400 made entirely with bolt-on parts, without any frame modifications. It’s a custom build that imagines a street custom/scrambler that used to run on unpaved roads, with a standard style based on British bikes like Triumph, block-like front and rear tires, and a left-out up muffler.
The owner of this vehicle is a friend of “Ryuji, a young mechanic part-timer at 2%ER“. This time, Ryuji asked to “work unpaid after hours to get him riding as cheaply and quickly as possible. Please let me use the factory and tools. I would like you to discount the amount of the labor cost I worked on.” Ryuji took care of almost all the maintenance and customization of the entire vehicle, staying after hours. He provided some used parts available at the factory and finished it with a focus on overall balance and ride comfort as cheaply as possible.
The owner is enjoying long touring from Kyushu to Shikoku immediately after it was finished.
